Anthem

"You'll never walk alone" is known as Liverpool's official song, or anthem, whichever you prefer. The song was debuted in 1945 in the musical "Carousel." It has been remade by several artists. The more notable include Gerry and The Pacemakers, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and The Three Tenors. Here are the lyrics:

"You'll Never Walk Alone"

When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark,
At the end of the storm, there's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.

Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown...

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone...

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone,
YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE!

The most popular version of the song belongs to the band out of Liverpool, Gerry and The Pacemakers. Recorded in 1963.

And now, for my personal favorite sung by the fans. (Still gives me goosebumps)
